Appmaker Apps — Completing the Play console Data Safety Form (Updated)

Google has rolled out a new form that needs to be filled for apps uploaded to forms called the “Data Safety form”. This form will become mandatory for new apps and app updates after April 2022. Please note that this change will require your app to have a Privacy Policy as well. You can read more information on this here.

Google විසින් “Data Safety form” නමින් නව පෝරමයක් ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත. 2022 අප්‍රේල් මාසයෙන් පසු නව App Playstore publish කිරීමට සහ upload කර ඇති App යාවත්කාලීන සඳහා මෙම පෝරමය අනිවාර්යයෙන් පිරවිය යුතුය. තවද 2022 අප්‍රේල් මාසයෙන් පසු Privacy Policy එකක් upload කිරීම අනිවාර්ය වනු ඇත. ඔබට මේ පිළිබඳ වැඩි විස්තර මෙතැනින් කියවිය හැක.

The article will show how to fill the questionnaire for apps built on the Appmaker platform.

Appmaker මත ගොඩනගා ඇති App සඳහා ප්‍රශ්නාවලිය පුරවන්නේ කෙසේදැයි මෙම ලිපිය පෙන්වනු ඇත.

• To fill the form go to App content and then select Data Safety on the App Dashboard menu in Playconsole.

Access the data safety form

• Read the instructions given in the overview page and click the “Next” button to proceed.

• In the next page select “Yes” to the first question. After you make the selection two other questions will be shown. Answer Yes, to these questions as well. Then click the “Next” button.

• In the next page select “Approximate Location” and “Precise Location” under the Location heading.

• Under the heading Personal info select “Phone number”

• Select the options “App Interactivity” and “In-App search history” under the heading App activity.

• Select all the options given under the heading App info and performance

• Select the option under the heading “Device and other IDs”

• No additional selections need to be made. Click the “Next” button to proceed to the next step.
• Once your in the next screen, click the arrow button next to Phone number under Personal info. Complete the questionnaire as follows:

ඔබ ඊළඟ තිරයට පැමිණි පසු, “Personal Info” යටතේ “Phone number” අසල ඇති ඊතල බොත්තම ක්ලික් කරන්න. ප්‍රශ්නාවලිය පහත පරිදි සම්පූර්ණ කරන්න:

• Fill Approximate Location under Location. ඉන්පසු “Location” යටතේ “Approximate Location” පුරවන්න.

• Fill Precise under Location. ඉන්පසු “Location” යටතේ “Precise Location” පුරවන්න.

• Then fill Crash Logs under App info and performance. ඉන්පසු “App info and performance” යටතේ “Crash Logs” පුරවන්න.

• Fill Diagnostics under App info and performance. ඉන්පසු “App info and performance” යටතේ “Diagnostics” පුරවන්න.

• Fill Other App performance Data under App info and performance. ඉන්පසු “App info and performance” යටතේ “Other App Performance Data” පුරවන්න.

• Fill App Interactions under App Activity as follows:

• Fill In-App Search History under App Activity as follows:

පහත පරිදි “App Activity” යටතේ “In-App Search History” පුරවන්න:

• Finally fill Device or other identifiers as given below and click on the Next Button. අවසානයේ පහත දක්වා ඇති ආකාරයට “Device or other identifiers” පුරවා Next Button එක මත ක්ලික් කරන්න.

• Click the Next button to proceed to the next step.
• Click on the submit button to complete the Data Safety form
